The performance of offshore and onshore concept optimisation services for Farzad B Gas Field Development Project has been awarded to Nargan. The scope of services is field development (surface facilities) and upstream offshore/ onshore facilities.

The client of the Project is National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). The project has been effective since October 2021 and its duration is 12 months.

The Farzad B joint gas field is located in the Farsi bloc on the Persian Gulf (Iran-Saudi Arabia marine border), and at a distance of about 20 km from the Farsi Island. The offshore facilities are also located approximately 110 km from the Iran coastal line and 120 km from Bushehr city. The gas produced in this field will be transferred, via 36’’ offshore pipeline, to the onshore facilities of Pars 2 in Kangan region for processing. In the onshore facilities, gas condensate is first separated from the sour gas and then transferred to the South Pars Refinery of phases 12 & 19 for stabilisation.
